Tragic Manchester Kids Named

The police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths of two children after their father was arrested this week.

They were found dead in a flat in Manchester and have now been named as two-year-old Theo Molemohi and four-year-old Yolanda Molemohi.

The young children's 37-year-old father has been arrested over the murders.

Police say he was with the children when they were found dead.

Officers were called to a block of flats in Whalley Road, some two miles south of the city centre, at 8am on Wednesday.

Both children were found unconscious in the flat in Whalley Road, and it is believed they had been strangled.

They were taken to hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.

Det Supt Geoff Wessell, of Greater Manchester Police, said the children had spent the weekend with their father, as their parents were estranged.

The mother, Morongoe Molemohi, went to the flat to pick up some belongings when she found their bodies.

Police also revealed that following the arrest, the father collapsed and was taken to hospital, but will be questioned later.
