Charges Follow 'Body In Suitcase' Horror

Police investigating the shock discovery of a body in a suitcase found dumped in Kent last month have charged a man.

IT specialist Clinton Bailey, aged 35, has been charged with the murder of 37-year-old Leah Questin, a care worker.

Ms Questin's remains were discovered in the case on farmland off Buckland Road in Cliffe, near Rochester, on September 24.

Detectives had been given extra time to question Bailey after he was arrested at an address in Lewisham on Tuesday, but he has now been charged.

Scotland Yard said Bailey is from Brockley in south east London.

Philippines-born Ms Questin was reported missing by a friend overnight on September 16 after last being seen at her home in Sneyd Road, near Cricklewood in north London.

The suitcase was found at the remote site, known locally as the Old Pond, by a dog walker, who reported it to police.

Bailey will appear before Hendon magistrates today, (Friday).
