Army Remove Device In Banbridge GAA Alert
A 'viable' pipe bomb has been found at a GAA ground in County Down.
The bomb was found during an overnight alert at the ground on the Ballela Road outside Banbridge.
Police have since described the device as "viable" and it has now been removed by the Army Technical Officers.
The area was first cleared last night at around 9pm when the alarm was raised following a telephone warning.
An unknown male caller said a device had been left at the ground.
Police have since appealed for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on Wednesday evening to contact them as soon as possible.

Suspect package declared a hoax
A suspect device found in north Belfast on Friday has been declared a hoax. The package was discovered at a telephone control box on Glenview Street. Army bomb experts were immediately called in and the area between Old Park Road and Park View Court was immediately sealed off. It has since been reopened.

Hard-Hitting Road Safety Message Delivered To Young People
Over 800 young people from schools in Lisburn and Castlereagh attended a hard-hitting road safety message at the PSNI Road Safe Roadshow on 19 November. The roadshow, supported by AXA Insurance and the Northern Ireland Road Safety Partnership, aims to educate young drivers about the dangers of irresponsible driving.
