Two Charged Over Alvor Killing
A teenager and another male have appeared in court in Portugal charged in connection with the death of a Londonderry businessman in the Algarve earlier this month.
The accused, aged 19 and 26 and from Brazil, were charged with homicide and robbery.
The 26-year-old was remanded in custody while the 19-year-old was placed under partial house arrest.
Paul Houston, 51, died after being attacked in Alvor while walking back to his accommodation on 6 September.
Mr Houston was originally from Donegal and ran a shoe business in Derry.
Earlier this week, thousands of mourners attended the funeral of Mr Houston at St Mary's Church in Ballybrack, Co Donegal.
It was so full that the service had to be relayed outside to the hundreds of people unable to fit in the church.

A rural firebomb attack is being treated as a murder attempt by the police. Two men are in a critical condition following a petrol bomb attack at their home in County Tyrone. A 19-year-old man and his father were injured in the incident at Church Hill Cottages in Caledon, which happened on Saturday evening.

An 18-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with the attempted murder of a woman in Co Antrim at the weekend. Christopher Kyle Houston, from Shetland Gardens in Ballymena, is accused of attacking the 31-year-old woman outside the Dunluce Medical Centre in Portrush early on Saturday morning.
