Westlink Resurfacing Works
There will be two temporary weekend closures of the Westlink /York Street Junction to allow resurfacing work to take place, the Road Service has announced.
The M2 / M3 bound carriageway of Westlink, between Divis Street and York Street, and York Street Junction will be closed from 9pm on Saturday 12 September until 12 noon on Sunday 13 September and from 9pm on Saturday 19 September until 12 noon on Sunday 20 September.
Traffic travelling from the M2 and M3 to Westlink will be unaffected.
During these closures a signed diversion route will be in operation.
For M2 and York Street bound traffic this involves Divis Street, Millfield, Carrick Hill, North Queen Street, Brougham Street and York Street. For M3 bound traffic the alternative route involves Divis Street, Millfield, Carrick Hill, North Queen Street, Broughham Street, Dock Street and Nelson Street.
"Drivers using the Westlink / York Street junction should expect delays and should allow extra time for their journeys," said a Road Service spokesperson.

Road Reopens Following Westlink Crash
Traffic is moving freely again following a five-car collision on the Westlink on Monday afternoon, 13 February. The crash, which involved five vehicles, occurred at the M2 bound Divis Street on-slip. The road was closed to traffic coming from Divis Street. The accident has since been cleared and the road has re-opened.
