Arson Attacks Tackled Across NI
There will be a substantial repair bill following a North West arson attack.
The deliberate blaze - at a skip hire company in Londonderry - was just one of four fires across Northern Ireland that kept the emergency services busy at the weekend.
In the Derry incident, two hooded men set fire to a lorry at the Brick Kiln plant near Creggan in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Three vehicles were destroyed in the blaze, which was recorded on CCTV.
"You'll see a flash of light, two individuals standing there - then one running away with a petrol can in his hand," said a company spokesman.
The company spokesman said it faces a repair bill of about £200,000 following the fire.
Meanwhile, a large quantity of building materials has been destroyed during a suspicious fire in west Belfast.
Eight fire crews fought the blaze at a builder's yard behind the former Budget DIY store on the Andersonstown Road on Sunday night.
However, while the fire spread to a derelict store, it caused only minor damage.
Meanwhile, an early morning fire at a Co Tyrone public house at the weekend is being treated as arson, police have confirmed.
Fire personnel were called to the blaze at the Bridge End Bar in Strabane at approximately 1am on Saturday.
Londonderry Station Commander John Tate confirmed the ground floor of the premises had been "extensively damaged" in the incident.
No-one was injured but up to a dozen firemen were forced to search for potential casualties, especially as flats above the pub suffered smoke damage.
The police have appealed for information.
Finally, in Co Antrim, a number of people were believed to be in a house that was the target for a failed petrol-bomb attack on Saturday.
The petrol bomb missed its target and landed in a neighbouring garden.
The device ended up in the garden of a neighbouring property at Fairway in Larne around 1.40am on Saturday.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Blaze Dramas Unfold
An investigation is being carried out to establish the cause of the three fires, including one where pensioners had to be evacuated from their homes - as well as a petrol bomb attack. A row of terraced houses under construction at Milltown Street in Dungannon sustained extensive damage in the fire which was reported at 7.10am on Saturday.

Province sees spate of overnight fires
Police are investigating a spate of overnight fires throughout the province that have caused extensive damage to a school and a church in Belfast. A set of curtains in the gym at St Oliver Plunkett School on the Glen Road caught fire, causing scorch damage to the surrounding area.

Police Probe Cause of Fires
A massive loss of stock at a Jet Ski centre has resulted from a weekend blaze in Comber, Co Down. Up to £1m worth of stock has been destroyed thanks to one of the walls of the building collapsing, which meant strong winds were fanning the flames, making the fire difficult to control.

Smoking is the biggest cause of accidental fire deaths in Northern Ireland, according to the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS). There have been 53 accidental fire deaths over the past five years and 22 of these were as a direct result of smoking materials.
