Students Dance For 'Tiny Life'

A group of Belfast students will step-out tonight on an innovative charity fund-raiser - dancing in aid of premature babies.

The events management students from Belfast Metropolitan College are holding their 'Lets Dance' international charity dance night today - in aid of Tiny Life, the Northern Ireland charity supporting families of premature babies.

It takes place at The Edge on the city's waterfront and promises to treat Belfast to a spectacular 'trip around the world of dance'.

Guests can expect to 'Try a Tango', 'Sizzle at Salsa' or gyrate with the belly dancers as some of Belfast's top dance tutors take to the floor to display, demonstrate and dazzle with their talents.

Other events on the night include music and a luxury raffle with prizes including a corporate box for the Belfast Giants, VIP tickets for the Belfast Wheel, a family ticket for a performance of the BFG at the Grand Opera House, a professional make-up consultation, money-off vouchers, champagne and private sessions with a personal trainer.

Thanks to Mount Charles Catering - who will be sponsoring the food for the evening - guests can also help themselves to a buffet of light snacks included in the ticket price.

"Tiny Life is a charity that receives no government funding and therefore relies solely on donations from the public," commented the Events Coordinator for Tiny Life and student at Belfast Metropolitan College, Andrea Milligan.

"It is a local charity that has been supporting local families with premature infants for the past 21 years; it's great to see my fellow students working so hard to make this event a success, it promises to be a fabulous evening for a very worthwhile cause," she said.

'Let's Dance' costs £5, starts at 8pm, and tickets are can be bought at The Edge (Laganbank Road) on entry.
