Bord na Móna Workers Accept New Proposals
Workers at Bord na Móna have voted to accept new proposals from the company on pay and working conditions.
More than 300 employees at four Bord na Móna sites in the midlands agreed to restructure peat production systems at a mass meeting in Tullamore last week.
The dispute arose after unions claimed Bord na Móna wanted to cut workers pay by 20% and change the status of seasonal workers by reducing their hours.
A planned strike was put off earlier this week until new proposals were put to employees.
