Police divers recover man's body in quarry
A man’s body has been found in a flooded County Antrim quarry.
Police officers from the underwater search team have recovered the body from a quarry at Ballyeaston near Ballyclare.
The man, who is believed to have been in his 50s, was last seen near the quarry edge.
Detectives in Newtownabbey are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
Meanwhile in County Tyrone a 26-year-old man has been fatally struck by a lorry.
Mark Steven Robinson, from Skelgagh Road, Clogher died after being hit by a lorry just after 11pm on Monday April 22.
The accident happened as he was walking along the Annaghilla Road towards Ballygawley.

Planning Approval For 23.8ha Quarry Extension
Planning approval has been granted for a 23.8 hectare extension to Demesne Quarry in Glenarm. The development, led by OMYA UK Ltd, is for a sideways extension of Demesne Quarry southwards into Tully Field. It will also restore Parishagh Quarry for agricultural uses to the original ground level.

30-Year-Old Man Dies In Glenshane Pass Collision
Police have renewed an appeal for information on a fatal road traffic collision on the Glenshane Pass. A 30-year-old man died when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a tanker lorry near the Ponderosa bar between Dungiven and Maghera at 05:20 on Monday 09 August.

Lorry Overturns In Co Tyrone
A lorry has crashed and overturned in Co Tyrone. It is understood the cement lorry crashed into a graveyard at St Mark's church. Police have said the Crossowen Road, between Augher and Clogher, is closed in both directions. The driver of the vehicle has been taken to hospital for treatment. It is understood his injuries are not life-threatening.

Teenager's Body Found In Flooded Quarry
The body of a teenager has been recovered at a disused and flooded quarry in Strabane. It comes after a full search involving police, the fire service and volunteer divers. It is believed Rhys Jack, 17, was on a makeshift raft at the site on Strahan's Road in the Backtown area at about 6.30pm yesterday when he fell in.
