Pregnant Woman Named As 41st Road Victim
The woman from Portrush who died yesterday in a car accident in Co Londonderry was six month pregnant.
Kelly Louise Norris, 22, died when her car collided with a lorry at Mathers Cross on Atlantic Road on Wednesday morning, at about 8.30 am.
The Atlantic Road between Coleraine and Portrush was closed to traffic afterwards as police investigated the tragic incident.
The name of one of the two men who died in different crashes on Tuesday has also been released.
Steven Bernard Doey, 29, was killed on the ring road in Coleraine, close to the junction with the Ballycastle Road, in a one-vehicle collition.
Police have not released any details regarding the identity of the twenty-year-old man who died in an accident in Co Down at about 10.30 pm.
These accidents bring to 41 the figure of deaths on Northern Ireland's roads so far this year. It has increased with respect to the same period of the year before, when the number was 34.
Meanwhile, two teenagers remain in hospital after a car crash on the main Londonderry to Letterkenny road.
It happened about a mile from Newtowncunningham on the N-13 at Killyvery at about 2am on Thursday morning.
One of the teenagers was transferred to the Beaumont hospital in Dublin. A second is in a stable condition in Letterkenny General Hospital.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Serious Road Accident In L'Derry
Police are appealing for witnesses of a serious road accident in Maghera, Co L'Derry, on Sunday night. A man in his 20s is in a critical condition in hospital following the two car collision on the Coleraine Road. It is understood a number of people were injured in the collision but none of them seriously.
