Belfast multi-media company launched
Develop1, a Belfast-based multimedia and Internet development company, was officially launched on Monday April 29, with the aim of providing a specialist technical team to work with existing design teams.
The company aim to provide solutions from the simple to the complex, including e-commerce and updatable multimedia and websites. Core skills encompass ASP, SQL, JavaScript, Director and Flash.
Develop1 are also offering potential clients a number of different types of service, from a few hours of work at the end of a project right through to partnership on a project from the offset.
Together with a clients design team, Develop1 can present a complete interface to the client from the initial consultation until project delivery ensuring the code and design are integrated at every stage.

LAUNCH OF BELFAST FERRY SERVICE DELAYED
THE launch date for a new catamaran-ferry service around Belfast Lough scheduled to be up and running this summer has been pushed back to late September. The two state-of-the-art high-speed catamarans specially designed for the ferry service have been completed in Queensland but are unable to begin their voyage to Belfast.

Stream appoint General Manager for UK and Ireland
Stream International has announced that Sean Canning has been promoted to General Manager at the company’s Londonderry facility. Canning joined Stream in January 2000 as a service delivery manager, responsible for the contact centre operations of a major client account. Canning replaces Kevin Houston who has joined HCL Technologies.
