SIGNAL sends recipe for brand success

A leading expert in the design and management of brand personality was guest speaker at the SIGNAL flagship event held in the Clandeboye Estate Courtyard.

Brand guru, Professor Brian Cunningham spoke to local businesses about his unique understanding of customer behaviour obtained through extensive research into company brand personality.

He said: "Today there are so many quality products on offer to customers that product differentiation is becoming much tougher. It is therefore essential for companies to become more brand aware and brand-centric. Companies must look inward at the whole package - the product and its personality so that customers can enjoy their shopping experience."

Commenting on the visit of Professor Cunningham, David Shivers, Business Development Manager of SIGNAL said: "At signal we aim to help local businesses from North Down and beyond in their pursuit of business growth through the motivation and inspiration from the best in the business.

"We are therefore delighted that Professor Cunningham was guest speaker at Signal's flagship event. Using this unique formulation of the core ingredients of personality combined with world-wide experience, local businesses have benefited from his expert knowledge."

The SIGNAL steering group, which is made up of local business people and North Down Borough councillors, aims to encourage local SMEs within the North Down area.
