Coast Road Crash Victim Named

Police have reported that one man has died in a crash on the scenic Antrim Coast Road (pictured here) this morning.

The victim, just named as Scott Brady, 29 and from nearby Larne, was killed when his car was involved in the single vehicle accident.

It happened near Ballygally at about 8.30am on Friday morning and led to the road being closed off and traffic diverted.

Motorists are being advised that diversions have been put in place at Branch Road and Upper Waterloo Road.

There are no further details of the incident at present, but the police in Larne have appealed for any witnesses to contact them on 0845 6008000.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
