Ballymena Gun Attack Under Investigation

Detectives are trying to establish a motive for an overnght gun attack in Co Antrim.

They have appealed for any witnesses to the shooting to contact them after four shots were fired at a property in the James Street, Ballymena. A PSNI spokesman said it happened at around 9pm on Monday. No-one was in the premises at the time and no-one was injured.

Man arrested as two injured in pellet gun attack
One man has been arrested after two people were injured in a pellet gun attack at a bar in Londonderry overnight. A man walked into the 'Oval' bar on Duke Street in the Waterside area at about midnight and fired a number of shots. One male customer was hit once in the head and twice on the hand while a woman sitting nearby was struck in the chest.

Shots fired at Co Londonderry home
A house and car have come under a shotgun attack in Co Londonderry early this morning. Two shots were fired, one through the front of the house and the other at the vehicle, outside in the village of Claudy at around 3am. A couple and their three sons were sleeping inside at the time, however no-one was injured.

Man Shot In The Legs In North Belfast
A man has been shot in the legs in north Belfast. The paramilitary-style attack happened in the Jamaica Street area on Sunday, 25 June. The man was taken to hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Investigation Launched Into Petrol Bomb Attack In Ballymena
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a petrol bomb incident in the Queen Street area of Ballymena. Shortly before 10.15pm on Monday, March 4, it was reported that two petrol bombs were thrown through the living room window of a house in the area. Neither of the petrol bombs ignited.
