Two die in separate road accidents
Two people have died in traffic accidents in County Down and County Antrim.
A woman died after she lost control of her Volkswagon Polo on the Ballynoe Road near Downpatrick this morning. The accident occurred at 11.25am and police believe the incident did not involve any other vehicles. The victim has been named as Mary McVeigh – a 65-year-old woman from the town who had recently retired.
Elsewhere, a man has died following an accident at the Hillhead Road junction of the Larne to Belfast road on Tuesday. The man, who has not been named, was rushed to hospital after his Granada car was involved in a collision with a Renault van at 12.40pm yesterday afternoon. The man died earlier today from his injuries. Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact Larne detectives at 028 9065 0222.

Woman and child die in separate road accidents
Police are appealing for information after a woman and child died in two separate road accidents overnight. In Belcoo, Co Fermanagh, a three-year-old girl died after being hit by a car. The accident happened on the Railway Road at around 9.15pm on Monday. The girl is the third child to die on Northern Ireland's roads this year.

Two people have died following separate road accidents in Counties Down and Fermanagh on Tuesday. In the first accident a man died following a crash between two cars on the main Belfast to Holywood road shortly after 5.30pm. He died in hospital a short time later.

Two Men Who Died In Separate Road Accidents Named
The names of two men who died in separate road accidents on Wednesday, 08 November, have been released. Ross Capper, aged 18, died following a collision on the Dungannon Road in Portadown. Wayne Alun-Roberts, aged in his 30's, was a passenger in a car which collided with a lorry on the Roguery Road in Toomebridge.

Two people have died on Northern Ireland's roads in the past two days. A man has died after being hit by a car in Co Down early this morning. The 33-year-old pedestrian, who has not yet been named, was struck by the vehicle on the Downpatrick Road in Ardglass at around 3am on Friday.
