Another Belfast Hotel Development To Open

Another hotel development will open its doors to city tourists in Belfast later this month, following a £23m investment by Park Inn.

The city centre scheme will be officially opened on Monday, creating 60 full-time jobs and more part-time posts locally.

Park Inn is part of the Carlson hotel group, which includes the Radisson and Park Plaza chains.

The scheme encompasses 145 rooms, including 10 business friendly, eight wheelchair accessible and 12 that interconnect.

Other offerings include conference facilities, a fitness suite, sauna and steam room.

General Manager Gerard Kelly said: "We are very excited to soon be opening the doors to this fantastic hotel, literally in the heart of the city, a few minutes stroll from all the shops, theatres and the main business district.

"The facilities are excellent and we look forward to welcoming guests from both the local area and further afield and to giving them the Park Inn experience."
