NI company launch Scottish Golf brochure
Northern Ireland's leading golf holiday specialist Bryan Somers Holidays has launched its new Golf Scotland brochure.
The company has teamed up with ferry company Stena Line to launch the brand new brochure, which features some of the best golf courses in Scotland, including the world famous championship courses at Turnberry.
Jonathan Millar of Bryan Somers Travel explained that the new brochure was just a starting point for golfers wanting to try out new courses in Scotland. He said: “Finding new golfing destinations is always enjoyable but you don’t often consider what is available close to home in Scotland.
“As the traditional home of golf, Scotland boasts some of the finest courses in the world and all golfers like to pit their wits against the best. We are delighted to give golfers the chance to play at take on some of the great golfing challenges in south west Scotland."
With an initial choice of six courses, the new brochure offers golfers the choice of a day trip, an overnight stay or a short break with two nights’ accommodation. All prices in the brochure are based on a car and four people and include return travel on the Stena HSS from Belfast to Stranraer, green fees and, where appropriate, accommodation.
The Golf Scotland brochure offers a range of hotels in the Dumfries and Galloway area with overnight prices, including two nights’ accommodation and two rounds of golf, starting at £129 per head (based on a car and four with B&B accommodation at the Dunskey Golf Hotel).
Other hotels to choose from in the area are the Imperial Hotel with easy access to no less than 18 golf courses, Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club, the Waterfront Hotel in Portpatrick and the Turnberry Hotel.
