Jurys Inn Belfast to get £500,000 refurbishment

Jurys Inn Belfast is set to get a £500,000 upgrade during the summer it has been announced.

Among the upgrades and improvements will be an expansion of existing conference space and the refurbishment of 190 bedrooms.

The move continues recent improvements in the hotel including three furnished dedicated meeting rooms for corporate customers, which opened last month.

Overall, Jurys Hotel Group have been performing strongly of late, especially its Belfast hotel where occupancy levels are one of the highest in the hotel chain.

Meanwhile, news has emerged that Jurys is to consider the sale of some of its best known Dublin properties including the Green Isle, the Skylin, the Montrose and the Tara. This is in response to the company's plans in developing its chain of more profitable budget hotels.

The refurbishment work at Jurys Inn Belfast is expected to be completed by October.
