Second Arrest As Police Probe Doorman's Death
Another person has been held by police investigating the death of a man who was working as a pub and club doorman in Londonderry.
The 46-year-old man was arrested in Derry today (Thursday) in connection with the murder of Brian McGlynn, 28, who was shot dead at his home in the Fountain Hill area of the Waterside on Sunday, 3 June, last year.
The PSNI said today that the man is also being questioned about membership of the INLA.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man arrested on Wednesday is still in custody and the detectives have appealed for the person who contacted them at Strand Road recently about the murder to get in touch again.
The victim, Mr McGlynn, was originally from Strabane, and had been working as a doorman at a nightclub and a pub in Derry City when he was killed.

Two Arrests Made In Connection With Death Of Elderly Man In Dromore
A 54-year-old man has been arrested in suspicion of murder in connection with the death of an elderly man on 30 June in County Tyrone. The 84-year-old man was found dead at an address in Blackwater Road, Dromore. Police investigating the death made two arrests on Tuesday.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police have arrested a man in relation to the murder of James McConnell In L'Derry in 2009. Mr McConnell, 38, was killed after he was shot at his house in Woodland Avenue by two men. The man, 48, was arrested in Dungiven and is being detained at Antrim police station. The police are also carrying out two searches in Dungiven.

International Drugs Operation Nets Four
A man is due to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court charged in connection with the seizure of heroin worth over €3 million in Co. Louth last week. The man, who was arrested in Banbridge in Co. Down, is charged with the unlawful importation of Class A drugs and the supply of Class A drugs.
