Camelot CEO addresses CIM Lecture in Belfast
On a recent visit to Belfast, Dianne Thompson, the CEO of Camelot, told over 100 local business people that successful marketing is much more than just keeping your fingers crossed.
Speaking during the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Celebrity Lecture at the Belfast Hilton recently, Dianne, who is also the International President of the CIM, gave the attendees advice on branding and revealed the brand challenges facing the National Lottery.
Speaking at the lecture, Dianne said: "Over the last year our focus has been on re-evaluating the brand, and changing our approach where necessary to allow it to continue to flourish in the future. I am confident that we now have the right business and marketing strategy in place to ensure that the UK National Lottery remains one of our most valuable national assets, and one that we can all certainly be proud of."
Michael Maguire, Regional Director, Chartered Institute of Marketing NI, welcomed the Camelot CEO's visit and said it was a great testament to the strength of the marketing sector in the province that she had agreed to give an address in Belfast.
