Suspicious Device Declared A Hoax
A suspicious device found in the grounds of a school in west Belfast has been declared a hoax.
Army experts were called to St Colm's High School at Summerhill Drive this morning after the caretaker came across the device.
Police cordoned off the scene and the principal sent the children home for the day as soon as the device was discovered.
The road has now been re-opened.

A security alert at St Brecans Park in L'Derry has been declared a hoax. Emergency services responded to reports of a suspicious object in the area early on Saturday 12 June. Homes in the surrounding area were evacuated as the device was examined.

School bomb scare declared a hoax
A security alert at an integrated school in Co Tyrone has been declared a hoax. Army bomb experts carried out a controlled explosion on a device which was attached to the front gates of Dungannon Integrated College on Wednesday. Children at the school were evacuated from the building and given the day off.

A security alert in west Belfast, which forced families to be evacuated from their homes, has been declared a hoax by army disposal officers. People who lived in Hawthorn Street and Cavendish Street were forced out of their homes in the early hours of this morning. SDLP Lower Falls Cllr Colin Keenan also had to leave his home in Hawthorn Street.

St Colm's Device Declared Further Hoax
Yet another security alert - which closed St Colm's High School in the Twinbrook estate on the outskirts of west Belfast this morning - has now been declared a hoax. Police who cordoned off Summerhill Drive, Summerhill Mews and Thornleigh Crescent while they investigated reports of a suspicious object later declared that it had been another hoax.
