Foster Wins Enniskillen By-Election
The DUP's Arlene Foster has won Fermanagh Council's Enniskillen seat following a hotly contested By-Election.
Ms Foster, incumbent Executive Economy Minister, said she is "delighted" with the result.
She received 1,925 first preference votes, putting her ahead of the Sinn Féin's Debbie Coyle, who got 1,815.
The presiding Officer declared Ms Foster the winner after she secured 3,165 votes following the second round of transfers in the proportional representation poll.
"If I take anything from this election, it's that the unionist community rallied around the fact that we had called for unionist co-operation and I think that's been tremendous," she said.
Voter turnout was predicted at 50%.
Sinn Fein had earlier called for a recount of the ballots.
UUP candidate Basil Johnston received 1,436 votes, the SDLP's Rosemary Flanagan got 739, while the Alliance Party's candidate Dr Kumar Kamble polled 231 votes, with the independent Karen McHugh receiving 158 votes.
The position was left vacant following the death of the DUP's Joe Dodds - father of party Deputy Leader and Finance Minister, Nigel Dodds.
The election had been described as "too close to call", due to the almost equal unionist and nationalist representation in the ward.

Francie Molloy Wins Mid-Ulster
Sinn Féin's Francie Molloy has won the Mid-Ulster by-election. Mr Molloy fulfilled electoral predictions with a majority win, securing 17,462 (47%) of votes, compared to his nearest rival, the joint unionist candidate, Nigel Lutton, who received 12,781 (34%).

Arlene Foster Elected First Female DUP Leader
Finance Minister Arlene Foster has been elected as the first female leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP). Mrs Foster replaces Peter Robinson who announced he is to step down as leader and First Minister in January. She said it was an "enormous honour" to take up the role.
