Tyrone Police Station Bomb Made Safe
A pipe bomb planted at a Tyrone police station has been made safe by Army bomb disposal experts.
It is believed an unsuspecting member of the public carried the device into the Dungannon station.
The man is though to have found the device and brought it to police in his car.
The security alert was raised around 9pm last night.
Army experts were called to the scene, and defused the pipe bomb, which has been described as "viable".
The station remained cordoned off last night, as an investigation into the incident continued.
Police have made an appeal to anyone who finds a suspicious device not to touch it and to call police immediately.
Fermanagh and South Tyrone UUP MLA Tom Elliott condemned those responsible for last night’s attack.
"I have warned for some time that the threat from terrorists is increasing,
"I cannot believe the mentality of these people who jeopardise the life of members of the public as well as security services."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Officers Hurt In Police Station Alert
Five officers have been slightly injured following a car crash with a suspect vehicle in north Belfast. The PSNI said it happened when a car was seen to be driven in a suspicious manner at the back of Antrim Road police station at about 11pm on Thursday.

Bomb Alert Shuts Border Police Station
Army bomb disposal experts have today been continuing to deal with a van abandoned outside a border police station. About 350 residents in Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone, were evacuated from their homes due to the ongoing security alert - with the police now confirming that the vehicle concerned contained a 300lb bomb.

Suspect package declared a hoax
A suspect device found in north Belfast on Friday has been declared a hoax. The package was discovered at a telephone control box on Glenview Street. Army bomb experts were immediately called in and the area between Old Park Road and Park View Court was immediately sealed off. It has since been reopened.

Bomb Alert Underway Near Antrim Road
There's a fresh bomb alert this afternoon with the Limestone Road in north Belfast closed at its junction with Mountcollyer Avenue and York Road after a suspicious object was found. Police have said about 50 houses on Mountcollyer Avenue and some businesses on York Road have been evacuated.
