Belfast Man Held After Police Swoop On Dublin 'Pipebomb' Factory
Gardai in Dublin, investigating dissident republican activity, have arrested a Belfast man.
A police swoop in the West Park area of the city has resulted in five men being held by officers.
It is believed all the men are in their twenties.
Detectives at the scene discovered equipment used for making pipebombs.
Army bomb disposal experts were deployed to secure the area.
The men have been detained under the Offences Against The State Act and can be held for up to 72 hours.
One of the men was being held at Blackrock Garda Station and the other two at Shankill.
The apartment has been preserved for forensic examination by crime scene examiners from the Garda Technical Bureau.
The Garda Press Office said the raid was carried out as part of investigations into subversive activities.

Six Arrested In Dissident Investigation
Six people have been arrested by detectives investigating dissident republican activity. The arrests were made on Tuesday in the Dunmurry and west Belfast area following a number of searches. Police said five men, aged between 31 and 58, and a 32-year-old woman had been arrested.

Fourth Man Arrested In Connection With Investigation Into INLA Activity
Detectives investigating ongoing INLA activity have arrested a 27-year-old man in Co L'Derry. The suspect was detained by police from the PSNI's Paramilitary Crime Task Force on Wednesday, 07 March. The man was taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Kidnap-Robbery Scene Revisited
Police are continuing to probe the latest of Northern Ireland's so-called 'Tiger Kidnap' robberies, where a loved one is held hostage to force the victim to hand over property or money. The scene of an aggravated robbery near Lisburn, in which a man and woman were tied up, has been revisited by the PSNI who today reiterated what happened last week.
