Pensioner dies in County Down road collision
An elderly man has died following an road accident in County Down yesterday.
The accident happened on the A1 dual carriageway, at Banbridge.
The Citroen car, which the 74-year-old man was driving, was involved in a collision with a lorry.
The accident happened shortly before 2pm.
The man’s name has yet to be released by police. (AMcE)

Teen Is Latest Road Death Tragedy
A teenage boy has died after a car crash in rural Co Fermanagh. The fatal accident happened on the Newbridge Road, between Derrylin and Lisnaskea, shortly before 9.10pm on Thursday night. Police said that another youth was injured in the crash, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. The victim's name has not been released.

Body Of Missing Man Discovered In Lake
The body of missing Crossmaglen man Padraig Campbell has been found. The 37-year-old’s body was recovered from a lake in Co Monaghon last night. Campbell, of Drumbroy Road, Castleblaney, has been missing from the 18 March. Gardai have described his death as a tragic accident, however a post-mortem will be carried out.

A woman was also injured in the incident, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact police.

A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
