160 Restaurant Jobs For Belfast
An international restaurant firm has announced 160 new Northern Ireland jobs, based in Belfast's Victoria Square shopping complex.
The jobs will span over two restaurants.
Brinker International opened the first of its new eateries - the 250-seater Chili's Grill & Bar - today.
Serving up Southwest American cuisine, a mixture of Spanish, Mexican and Native American cooking, Chili's Grill & Bar already has outlets in over 24 countries.
Texas-based Brinker is expected to launch a branch of its Italian style chain Maggiaos in October.
President of global business development, Greg Walther, said Brinker International was "delighted" to open in Belfast.
"Belfast is a fast-growing, cosmopolitan city and we are excited to open our doors in a premier, upscale shopping centre like Victoria Square," he said.
Seventy full-time and part-time staff - with training in southwestern cuisine - will work in the restaurant.
