Chartered Engineers presentation takes place in Maiden City

A 'Get Chartered' presentation has taken place at DuPont, Maydown Works, Londonderry, for all budding Chartered Engineers.

The presentation, by Sandra Mulligan from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), explained to delegates how to become a Chartered engineer - the highest professional qualification for an engineer.

The presentation, which lasted just over an hour, covered a range of topics including:
  • Initial Professional Development to CEng and MIMechE
  • Academic requirements and alternatives for non-accredited degrees
  • Professional Training requirements and alternatives
  • Professional Review Report
  • The Competence based interview
  • Continuing Professional Development
  • SARTOR 3 Update
  • The benefits of IMechE membership
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers has 83,000 members worldwide, and represents mechanical engineers involved in a diversity of fields.

HMRC Announce 120 Graduate Jobs
