Councillor's 4-year-old son handles supect package

A suspicious package has been sent to the home of a Sinn Fein councillor in Ballymoney.

His four-year old son carried the package, containing a video case and battery wired up to a tube, into councillor Philip McGuigan's County Antrim home.

While it was unclear whether the package was a hoax, Mr McGuigan said it was a worrying development for party colleagues in the area, who, he said, had received threats in the past. (MB)
