Car Crash Death Investigated
Hours after police investigating a fatal road collision over a week ago - near Bushmills - revisited the scene to appeal for witnesses, a man has been killed in another road accident, this time near Coalisland in Co Tyrone.
No other vehicle was involved in the latest accident, which happened on the Farlough Road at about 4.15am on Monday.
Police in Dungannon have appealed for anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
A spokesperson said on Monday morning that the road had been closed and advised motorists to take an alternative route.
Meanwhile the Sunday after motorcyclist Robert Canning, 44, died when his bike was in collision with a towed caravan at Priestland Road, Bushmills, investigating officers have returned to the scene and asked for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police at Coleraine on 0845 600 8000.
There has also been a fatal crash in the Irish Republic with Gardai in Douglas Co Cork probing a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 12.00am on Saturday, 20th July.
A 23-year-old man who was the sole occupant of the car at the time of the collision was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9.30am on Sunday morning.
Police said the vehicle had collided with a tree.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
