Architects Bring £1m Job Investment To Derry
A new £1 million job investment in Derry is further evidence that the city is driving economic growth in the North West of the island, the NI Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness has said.
During the official opening of the new local office of the Consarc Design Group, the Minister also announced that it would bring 20 permanent jobs to the city over the next three years.
Consarc specialises in architecture, quantity surveying and historic building conservation.
Speaking at the Guildhall launch he said: "This investment reflects the commitment Consarc has to the city and the North West as well as demonstrating their ability to recognise the business potential here.
"Derry, and the surrounding area, is experiencing an economic re-growth and revitalisation and, like the rest of our cities, has a great deal to offer.
"Today's announcement can only enhance the employment opportunities for the local community and is future evidence that the city is driving economic growth in the North West of the island," added Mr McGuinness.
