City Car-Jacking Leaves Woman Shaken
A woman has been pushed from her car in broad daylight close to Belfast city centre.
The victim was stopped at traffic lights at the junction of Nelson Street and the Dunbar Link when a man forced her out of the car.
The man opened the passenger door and after getting in, got her out before driving off.
A short time later the vehicle was stopped at Ballyhackamore in east Belfast. Although badly shaken the woman was physically unhurt.
Police have said a man has been arrested after a hijacking near Belfast city centre.

Appeal Issued For Missing Belfast Woman
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Belfast woman Noreen Mallon. Noreen, aged in her 40s, was last seen on Thursday 09 August in Belfast city centre. Police have said that they are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

A 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road accident in County Down. A woman, believed to be in her 50s, was hit by a vehicle on the Comber Road in Newtownards at about 9.45pm last night. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
