Two Bailed Over Lurgan Drug Haul

The PSNI have reported that drugs - with an estimated street value of £25,000 - have been seized in Lurgan, County Armagh.

The cocaine and ecstasy was recovered in the Avenue Road area of the town during planned searches yesterday afternoon.

The police said that two men have been arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.

Pair Bailed Over INLA Drug Finds
Police have arrested and bailed two people after controlled drugs were recovered during two searches targeting the INLA. Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force seized a significant quantity of suspected class A controlled drugs during a search of a property in the Markets area on Wednesday 21 August.

Many Arrests In Gardaí Drugs Raids
A total of 45 people have been arrested in the past 48 hours in Gardaí a crackdown on the sale and supply of heroin and 'crack' cocaine in the Dublin region. The operation, which involved Garda drug units from Kevin Street, Pearse Street and Store Street stations, resulted in 150 charges being brought, according to Gardaí this morning.
