Antrim company secures two all-Ireland awards

Antrim-based IFS Group has won two awards at the Export and Freight 2002 Transport and Logistics Awards.

The event, which took place recently at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast is Ireland's leading awards ceremony for the Transport and Logistics industry.

The IFS Group were honoured in two separate categories with IFS Global Logistics securing the 'Irish Freight Forwarder of the Year' title, while subsidiary Vendorvillage scooped the 'Information Technology Award'.

An independent panel of judges from the top flight of the Transport and Logistics industry across Ireland were appointed to decide the eventual winners. IFS were doubly delighted as the only company from some 460 entrants to win not one, but two awards.

IFS Global Logistics, a privately owned Northern Ireland company in their 35th year of business, specialises in logistics and vendor managed inventory solutions in the transport industry.
