Teen Dies Days After Accident

The back-seat passenger in a car that collided with a tree on Lower Chanterhill Road in Enniskillen, just before St Patrick's Day this year, has died.

The accident happened at about 3am on 16 March and left the 19-year-old woman very seriously injured.

She has now died in hospital - 10 days after she was fatally injured in the crash - with the police renewing their appeal for anybody who witnessed the collision to contact them.

Inspector Ian Kennedy said: "In particular, we would like to speak to a female driver who had given another girl a lift and was on the Lower Chanterhill Road at the time of the collision."

The dead girl's family has requested that her name is not made public.
