Three Held Over Donegal Murder

Three men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Andrew Burns last week.

The victim, aged 27, from Strabane in Co Tyrone, was found dead outside a church at Doneyloop, Castlefin a few kilometres across the border in Co Donegal. He had been shot.

The men, aged 18, 33 and 42 are currently being questioned at Antrim Serious Crime Suite. They were arrested in the Strabane area.

North Belfast Murder Victim Conor McKee Shot A Number Of Times
31-year-old north Belfast murder victim Conor McKee was shot a number of times, police have revealed. Mr McKee was found dead by his mother at his Glenpark Street home last Thursday night. Two men arrested over the murder have been released on bail.

Mother of IRA murder victim dies
The mother of an IRA murder victim whose body was never found, suffered a major stroke last week and died in Craigavon Area Hospital. 82-year-old Vera McVeigh campaigned for the return of her son's body after the IRA secretly buried his body in 1975.

Men Charged With Londonderry Murder
Two men have been charged with the murder of a 19-year-old man in Londonderry. Liam Devlin died in hospital after he suffered head injuries following a confrontation in the Linsfort Drive area of the Creggan estate at 2.30am on Saturday morning. Mr Devlin was from Burnfoot in County Donegal and the two accused are aged 19 and 20 years.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder In L'Derry
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in L'Derry. Police are appealing for information about the stabbing incident which happened in Crawford Square the early hours of Friday morning. A man sustained a number of lacerations and puncture wounds to his body.
