Family escape injury in gun attack
A family have escaped injury following a gun attack on a house in Co Down over the weekend.
The incident happened at about 11pm on Saturday night in the White City area of Holywood.
A man, his mother and sister escaped injury in the attack after a shot was fired through the front bedroom window of the house as the family watched television.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to contact them.

A woman and her son have escaped injury following a shooting attack in Co Armagh. Shots were fired at a property in the Cloghoge Road area of Cullyhanna on Wednesday, 21 February. Windows were broken in the living room, kitchen and sitting room areas. The woman and child were inside the property at the time of the attack.

A family have escaped injury following an arson attack in L'Derry. The incident happened at a house in the Lower Bennett Street area just before 1.40am on Wednesday, 03 May. It was reported that a pillow had been placed against the gas mains of the house and set alight. Emergency services attended the scene and put the blaze out.
