East Belfast shooting victim dies in hospital
The man who was shot and seriously wounded in east Belfast last week, has died in hospital.
Twenty-two-year-old Alexander McKinley, who was shot in the head last Monday night as he sat in a car on the Woodstock Road, died in the Royal Victoria Hospital last night.
Police have linked the shooting to the bloody loyalist feud between the Portadown-based LVF and the UDA.
McKinley's death now brings to three the number of people who have been murdered in the past month as a result of the loyalist paramilitary feud.
It has been reported today that the victim was a relative of a senior UDA figure in east Belfast.
The loyalist feud has so far seen the murders of 41-year-old Geoffrey Thomas Gray on Friday October 4, and Stephen Warnock in Newtownards last month. Both men were linked to the LVF.
