Armagh Traffic Victim Was On Mercy Mission
The man who was killed in a weekend car crash has been named – and it has been revealed that he was on route to comfort bereaved relatives at the time of the accident.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision at the Keady Road on Saturday evening in which 38-year-old Stephen Guy, from the Keady area, was fatally injured.
Another man was hurt, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Tragically, it is understood Mr Guy had been driving to the local Craigavon Area Hospital to comfort relatives after a death in the family.
Armagh SDLP councillor Gerald Mallon said: "This is a very busy and dangerous stretch of road; indeed it was only on Monday night that I raised this particular stretch of road with senior officials of DRD Roads Service."
