Ecstasy Tablets Found Outside School

A bag containing about 500 ecstasy tablets has been found outside the gates of St Luke's Primary School in west Belfast.

The drugs, with a street value of approximately £2,000 and were pink in colour, were retrieved by a woman walking past the school in the Twinbrook area just after 2pm on Saturday.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police attended the scene after being contacted by a neighbourhood safety scheme.

"Approximately 500 pink tablets were recovered. Tests are to be carried out to determine the nature of the tablets."
