Pensioner Robbed In Own Home
Police in Lisburn are investigating the robbery of an elderly woman in her own home last night.
The incident happened at around 10pm in the Wesley Street area of the city.
The 89-year-old pensioner was in her living room watching television when four men burst into the room.
It is understood one of the men held the woman in her chair while the other intruders searched the house.
A PSNI spokesperson said a small amount of cash was taken.
The victim was left shocked but uninjured.
Anyone with any information or noticed any suspicious activity at the time is asked to contact Lisburn police on 0845 600 8000.

Pensioner attacked during burglary of her home
A 90-year-old woman was assaulted during a burglary of her home in Ballygowan, Co Down last night. The woman was confronted by a teenager after hearing noise in her kitchen. The youth then assaulted the elderly woman before escaping into an alley at the back of the house. Police believe an accomplice then joined the assailant.

A pensioner has been left shaken after she was pulled from her vehicle in Lisburn. The woman, aged in her 80s, was parking her car in the driveway on the Hillsborough Old Road area at around 5.15pm on Saturday, 07 October, when a man approached her and pulled her from the vehicle. He stole a holdall which contained cash and jewellery and made off.

Police are appealing for information after a 74-year-old woman was assaulted by two men at her home in north Down last night. The woman was in bed in her Helen's Bay home when two men entered at around 10pm on Sunday. One of the men then held her down whilst the other demanded money before ransacking the room.

Lisburn Woman Fined For Possession Of Unlicensed Prescription Medicines
A Lisburn woman has been fined for the possession of, and the unlawful advertising of, unlicensed prescription medicines. At Lisburn Magistrates' Court, Nadine Poole, of Whitehill Lodge, received fines totalling £600 after pleading guilty to six charges in breach of the Human Medicines Regulations, 2012.
