Garda Shot In Dublin
It has been reported that a garda has been injured in a shooting incident in Dublin this morning.
The shooting occurred shortly after 9am on the North Strand Road.
He was shot in the stomach after he stopped a car.
The officer, who is understood to be a motorcyclist with the regional traffic unit, was taken to hospital.
The area has been sealed off while Gardai investigate the incident.

Man Shot In Dublin At Weekend Dies
A man who was seriously injured following a shooting incident in Dublin on Sunday, has died in hospital. Robert Ryle, 30, from Ballyfermot Dublin was pronounced dead this morning at Tallaght General Hospital. Mr Ryle was recovering in hospital after being shot in Foxdene Park in Dublin on Sunday night.

A man shot dead in West Belfast on Saturday 18 December has been named as 31-year-old Mark Hall. According to police, two gunmen approached Mr Hall's family home on Rodney Drive shortly after 4:30pm.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Colin Horner
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner in Bangor, Co Down. Mr Horner was fatally shot outside a supermarket in from of his young son on 28 May this year. The suspect has been taken to Musgrave police station to be questioned.

Police Appeal After Man Shot Dead In Bangor
Police are appealing for information following the murder of Colin Horner, who was shot in front of his three-year-old son at Sainbury's car park in Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. The boy was in the car at the time of the attack. It is understood Mr Horner, originally from Co Antrim, has loyalist links.

The body of a man shot dead by an army unit over 40 years ago is to be exhumed as part of a legacy investigation. Daniel Rooney, 18, was killed by soldiers from the Military Reaction Force (MRF) in west Belfast on 26 September in 1972.
