Man wounded in drive-by shooting
A man has been shot in what appears to have been a drive-by shooting in County Down this morning.
The man received a gunshot wound to the leg as he walked to work along the Antrim Road in Ballynahinch town centre. He is now recovering in Downe Hospital.
The DUP's South Down assembly member Jim Wells said: "Up to now they have been petrol bombings, bricks through windows and attempts to burn property. This is by far and away the most serious incident over this last three years."
