NI Man Killed In England Is Named

A man killed in the north-east of England at the weekend has been named as Michael Duffin from the Ballycastle area of County Antrim.

Mr Duffin was 30-years-old and his body was found at Carliol Square in Newcastle early on Saturday morning.

Mr Duffin’s formal identification was delayed because some members of his family were on holiday.

Seven men were arrested in connection with the death of Mr Duffin and four of those have been released on police bail while the others will face no further action.
