'The Boss' Set For Belfast Gig

Bruce Springsteen will be reunited with his E Street Band for the first time in four years for a tour that will include Belfast’s Odyssey Arena in December.

The 31-date tour, which takes in most of Europe and North America, will arrive in Belfast on 15 December 2007 for Springsteen’s third Belfast gig.

‘The Boss’ last played in front of a packed Belfast audience last November on the closing night of his Seeger Sessions tour.

The tour will be in support of the forthcoming album Magic, due to be released in October and the concert in The Odyssey Arena is being organised by Aiken Promotions.

Jim Aiken, the founder of Aiken Promotions who died earlier this year, was a friend of Springsteen and the singer wrote a letter that was read out at his funeral.

Tickets go on sale next Thursday, costing between £49 and £60.
