Oil Painting Stolen From Hotel
A famous painting by artist Brian Ballard has been stolen from a hotel in County Down.
The oil painting, estimated to be worth between £10,000 and £12,000, was discovered missing from the five star Culloden Hotel on Thursday morning.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have been offered the painting entitled 'Holywood Harbour' for sale "in dubious circumstances" to contact them immediately.
The theft is believed to have taken place over the past fortnight.
