Man Killed In Car Accident
A man has been killed after being hit by a car at approximately 5am this morning near Dunmurry.
Twenty-one-year-old Gerard Kane from the Colin Glen area in west Belfast was knocked down by a car on the Colin Glen Road.
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed a man has been arrested and is being held for questioning.
He is believed to have handed himself in to police.

New child car seat legislation has been introduced to offer better protection for children. Child car seats approved under the new standard will offer improved safety features, including a new sizing system (i-Size), to ensure that children are using the correct car seat.

Masked man attempts to abduct girl
Police have appealed for any witnesses to an attempted abduction in west Belfast at the weekend. A nine-year-old girl was standing outside a house at Laurel Bank in Poleglass at around 10pm on Saturday when she was grabbed by a masked man. The girl managed to break free from his grip and ran inside the house.
