Father In Uproar Over Community Funding
The father of a murdered schoolboy has urged the Irish government to change its decision over funding to a loyalist community.
15-year-old Thomas Devlin was stabbed in the back five times as he walked home in 10 August 2005, and no one has been convicted of the murder.
His father, Jim Devlin, said workers in the loyalist Mount Vernon area estate, North Belfast, had a responsibility to hand over the killers.
Irish Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has promised £2,700 for grass roots development in Mount Vernon.
However, Mr Devlin has written to Mr Ahern and is calling for a meeting to raise his concerns.
He said: "He was just a 15-year-old schoolboy and I am calling on the community leaders to give information about Thomas's murder."
Last year, police said that nine people were questioned about the murder and more than 900 statements had been taken in relation to the killing.

Devlin Murder Jury Visits Scene
The jury presiding over the trial of two men accused of murdering north Belfast schoolboy Thomas Devlin have been on a tour of the area. The 15-year-old (pictured) was allegedly stabbed to death and two of his friends also attacked on the Upper Somerton Road, at the back gates of St Patrick's College.

Just days after it was announced that the SDLP Mournes Cllr Sean Rogers had been selected by party members to replace South Down MP Margaret Ritchie in the Stormont Assembly, while she concentrates on Westminster, the expanded SDLP team was named.

Tragedy As Six-Year-Old Armagh Pupil Dies
Despite efforts by teachers to give emergency aid, a six-year-old boy has died after collapsing at his school in Armagh city. The child took ill in class at St Patrick's Primary School on Monday morning and teachers gave him first aid immediately, but he died later in hospital.
