Thermomax staff return to work

Thermomax staff are back at work today following an announcement last week that the company was being placed in administration.

The Bangor based firm, which makes solar heating systems, ran into financial problems, though administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers said they were in talks with potential buyers and could have news later this week.

Thermomax, founded in 1980, won a prestigious Queen’s Award for Excellence in 2001 and have said that no immediate job losses are expected among their 185 staff members.
