Londonderry lottery winner still unknown
A County Londonderry lottery winner has yet to claim their prize and National Lottery operator, Camelot, are urging the lucky person to come forward and collect their winnings.
The ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Monday 24 December 2007 to collect the £137,181 after they matched five numbers and the bonus ball on Wednesday, June 27.
Catherine Jordan, Regional Centre Manager for Camelot in Belfast, said: “We’re desperate to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this really is a life-enhancing amount of money. Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa, someone in County Londonderry could well be sitting on a small fortune.”
Camelot cannot specify exactly where the ticket was purchased but the lucky numbers on that date were 7, 13, 23, 40, 41, 48, and the bonus ball was number 1.
The Londonderry area has a history of lottery wins and only two weeks ago, Denis Doherty from the city’s Waterside scooped a £1.6m share of the jackpot.
