Jetstream Express drop Belfast flights
Jetstream Express has ceased operating flights between Blackpool and Belfast.
Flights on routes between Aberdeen and Southampton have also been axed.
In a statement Jetstream Express said: "We regret this action and the inconvenience it may cause but these routes have not proved viable."
The company, which started the Blackpool-Belfast flights in May, said that all unused portions of the tickets will be refunded and that the company would be contacting ticket holders shortly.

Aer Lingus Pilots Announce 48-Hour Strike
Around 500 Aer Lingus pilots have announced plans to hold a 48-hour strike next week, in protest over plans to pay staff at the company's new Belfast operation less than those in the Irish Republic. The strike is due to be held next Tuesday and Wednesday and is expected to affect all the air routes run by Aer Lingus.

Aer Lingus Launches Two New Routes From Belfast City Airport
Two new routes connecting Belfast City Airport to Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the Isle of Man are now operational, carrier Aer Lingus has announced. Flights to Newcastle will operate daily whilst the new Isle of Man route will operate four times per week, increasing to six weekly for the peak summer season.
